Maverick Pools has installed over 2,000 commercial spas in Illinois.  These facilities include health clubs, swim clubs, hospitals, colleges and major Chicago sports teams such as the Cubs, Bulls, Bears and Blackhawks. 

One of the most unique spa facilities Maverick was involved with was a project called Spa Aire in Downtown Chicago. We found the installation to be both challenging and rewarding. There are 8 spas with uniquely varying water temperatures and functions.  They have a combination of fountains, waterfalls, hydrotherapy jets, underwater speakers, and lighting. The spas were installed in the basement of a 100 year old building adjacent to Halsted street.  The original foundation walls were made of 2 foot thick concrete, which presented a huge challenge to overcome. 

Maverick worked hand in hand with structural engineers and architects to lay out penetrations for all of the piping to get to the filter room.  This process was long and painstaking.  We had to be extra careful so we did not undermine the structural integrity of the building.  After many long days of coordination, excavation, plumbing, concrete work, tile work, ground water issues, we successfully completed all of the spas. 

Maverick was able to overcome every challenge and get all of the spas open on time for their grand opening. Maverick Pools couldn’t be more proud of our team for being able to make this project successful.
